Let the good times keep rolling! Team Degenerate had its best week yet in Week 13 with a 5-2 record with a gain of 7 units.

The Lions won as our top play of the week and did it outright as over a touchdown underdogs. The Eagles, Chargers and Steelers were all multi-unit wins with the losses being limited to one unit each on the Bills and Texans. It has now been a winning season to date with a 43-42-2 and up seven units. Hopefully, the momentum continues.

Green Bay Packers -12 vs. Chicago Bears

The thing to consider if you’re going to be betting a double-digit favorite is motivation. If there is not a good reason for the favorite to be motivated it’s an automatic pass for me. The Rams against Jacksonville last week is a great example of a large favorite with huge motivation and it should have been on my card.

The Packers always seem motivated against the Bears no matter the situation. It’s just been the nature of the rivalry. Even though the rivalry has been so one-sided, the Packers have not been this large a favorite over the Bears in the last 10 meetings. The largest over that time span was only 7.5. Until proven otherwise, I will keep backing the Packers over the Bears, especially with the injuries to Chicago and essentially a lame duck coach.

Pick: Packers -12 1 unit

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3 over Buffalo Bills 4 units

Love the spot for Tampa with the Bills coming off the most physical Monday night football game possible. Not having Tre’Davious will be a killer for Buffalo in this matchup. Their defense is also likely overrated because their strength of schedule for quarterbacks has been pitiful. Outside of Patrick Mahomes, they’ve only beaten Mike White, Tua Tagovailoa, Davis Mills and Taylor Heinicke.

The Bills have zero chance to run the ball against Tampa, which will make them one dimensional. Also playing into the spot, going from extreme cold to blazing heat could play against Buffalo as well.

Cleveland Browns -2 over Baltimore Ravens 3 units

This is a home run spot for Cleveland coming off a close road loss at Baltimore and then getting a bye before facing the same team again. Even better for Cleveland is that without Marlon Humphrey an already vulnerable Ravens defense will be even worse. John Harbaugh told you what he thought of his defense without him when they went for the 2-point conversion last week instead of playing for overtime. Lamar Jackson has a QBR of against the blitz in the last three games and no longer has the running game to support him with the Ravens playing with the corpses of Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray.

Dallas Cowboys -4 over Washington Football Team 2 units

The Cowboys are fully healthy, which is not something a lot of people have picked up on. At various times this year they’ve been without CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and Amari Cooper at receiver, Zach Martin, Tyron Smith and La’Rael Collins on the offensive line, Dak Prescott at quarterback and Randy Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence on defense. This is the first time all year all nine of those guys will be in the lineup at once.

Despite the four wins in a row, Washington has been very lucky in close games in the last three weeks. COVID issues will also leave them short-handed for this contest.

Cincinnati Bengals +1.5 over San Francisco 49ers 2 units

This spread has to be because of concern to Joe Burrow’s pinky because otherwise it makes no sense at all for the 49ers to be read favorites here. Burrow’s finger is the only reason why this is not a larger bet.

San Francisco is likely to be without Deebo Samuel, Elijah Mitchell, Mike McGlinchey and Emmanuel Moseley. The 49ers secondary is a big weakness and will be going up against an excellent group of Cincy receivers. Seattle would have blown the 49ers out last week if not for two Gerald Everett fumbles int he red zone.

Meanwhile, Cincy was unlucky in the turnover department against the Chargers, including a Ja’Mar Chase touchdown turning into a pick-six. The Bengals were also without two starting offensive linemen they will be getting back. As we told you last week, Cincy was in a bad spot coming off that Pittsburgh blowout.
