The Green Bay Packers have been killing the draft and they aren’t done yet. After adding to their defense and getting Aaron Rodgers a weapon, the Packers go with protection for their quarterback.
This pick comes 58 spots later as the Packers traded away the No. 52 and No. 59 pick to the Minnesota Vikings for the No. 34 and selected Christian Watson. So, it’s been a while since Brian Gutekunst made a pick; however, he goes with UCLA offensive lineman Sean Rhyan.
Rhyan, 6-5, 320 pounds, has played 31 games at tackle for the Bruins. In 2021, he played 12 games at left tackle and helped pave the way for UCLA to average over 200 yards per game on the ground.
With the 92nd pick in the 2022 #NFLDraft, the #Packers select UCLA T/G Sean Rhyan!

The 21-year-old was named to the first-team All-Pac-12 team by the coaches and was selected to the second team by the Associated Press and PFF. Rhyan will have the opportunity to compete for the left tackle or guard positions for the Packers.
Rhyan has shown excellent core strength, great athleticism and has a thick lower body. However, he has shown inconsistency with pass protection. If he can improve in the passing game, Rhyan could be difficult to beat and end up being a high-level starter.
