The Green Bay Packers were back to work on Clarke Hinkle Field to open their Bye Week

First off: T David Bakhtiari did not participate. Don’t worry Green Bay Packers fans, it is all load management for Bakhtiari.

WR Randall Cobb and LB Za’Darius Smith were seen on the field. Cobb still has another week of his 21-day return window before needing to be added back to the 53-man roster while Smith’s was opened today.

Of the two players injured on Sunday, CB Chandon Sullivan was practicing but WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was not participating.

Also not to be overlooked, QB Aaron Rodgers continued to participate in practice. This is a great sign that his toe is getting healthier and his participation could help the offense eliminate the slow starts that plagued the unit for the last two-thirds of the season.

Two key starters who sat on Sunday to rest injuries, LB De’Vondre Campbell and RB Aaron Jones, both returned to practice today.

DL Kingsley Keke was also not practicing. Hopefully, the Green Bay Packers can get Keke back in time for the divisional round to get another interior pass-rushing presence back, along with their most athletic DL who would be a key cog against the teams they’d face in that round, in particular the 49ers and Cowboys who employ a bunch of Outside Zone in their gameplan.
