The Green Bay Packers are heading into their bye week but it would be foolish to think something wouldn’t happen. Unfortunately, that something happened on Tuesday with a key player hitting the COVID/Reserve list.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Packers standout linebacker De’Vondre Campbell has landed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive.
This isn’t an ideal situation for the Packers, but it comes at a good time with them being on the bye. The important thing for Campbell and the Packers is that he comes back feeling healthy and makes a full recovery.
Campbell is unvaccinated. but given the timing of all this, there’s a chance he won’t miss a game. Unvaccinated players can come back after 10 days but must be asymptomatic.
The Packers linebacker has been a massive reason for the Packers’ defensive success this season. Campbell has played at an elite level in his 12 games in Green Bay with 91 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and four tackles for loss.
