It was a wild week in the NFL with as many upsets as predicted wins. It didn’t quite go that way in the Game On Wisconsin fantasy football league.

Matt Bove (Go Balls Deep) VS Daire Carragher (Marcedes Lewis and the News)

Another week, another high-scoring game for Matt Bove. Fortunately for him and Go Balls Deep, this one actually ended in a win. James Conner’s 3 TDs had a big say in that.

It was a tough week for Daire Carragher, as Cleveland DST led the roster in scoring with 18.

Andrew Mertins (Winston’s Crab Legs) VS Isaac Greig (Complicated Fellas)

A pair of 30+ point performances gave Winston’s Crab Legs a huge leg up on the competition. Jonathan Taylor, in particular, has really been rewarding his fantasy football owners.

Meanwhile, my Fellas have been very complicated. I can’t seem to get past the combination of injuries, bye weeks, and just overall disappointing performances. We’re no longer talking about playoffs.

Brennen Rupp (Bad Juju) VS Ryan Bowman (Canadian Bacon)

Even with some lackluster performances, Brennen managed to get it done this week. That’s been a recurring theme for Bad Juju as they now have the least amount of points against in the league.

Canadian Bacon had too many 9-point totals to have a shot this week. Even a big game from Cordarrelle Patterson wasn’t enough to elevate Ryan’s squad.

Dan Kotnik (Bishop Sycamore All-Stars) VS Greg Williams (Hide And Zeke)

We saw a couple of cute plays in this matchup. Both Dan and Greg went with backup QBs starting their first game of the season. Neither move paid off but the rest of Dan’s roster did enough this week. The huge game from Nick Chubb was the difference-maker.

Respect to Greg for going with the Jordan Love-Davante Adams connection. It didn’t work out but neither did anything else for Hide and Zeke

Brendan Dzwierzynski (Final Dumpers) VS Sanjay Gowdar-Murthy (Token Brown Guy)

There was nothing very noteworthy from Brendan’s Final Dumpers this week. His roster did just enough to topple the giant that is Token Brown Guy.

What a performance from Snjay’s squad… really… hats off to Token Brown Buy. Sanjay not only recorded three goose-eggs on the day but also added a negative performance from Mason Crosby.

Move of the Week

Dan Kotnik added Pat Freiermuth to the Bishop Sycamore All-Stars. Freiermuth looked good in a win against the Browns last week. But he absolutely broke out against the Bears.

Freiermuth seems to have a good connection with Roethlisberger. He’s not only the Steelers TE1 but a fantasy football TE1 going forward.
