Green Bay Packers rookie linebacker Kamal Martin had surgery to repair a torn meniscus and will miss six weeks.

A fifth-round selection in the 2020 draft, Martin had moved his way up to working with the first-team defense in training camp. The Packers will now look more heavily to veterans Christian Kirksey and Oren Burks to man the middle of the Green Bay Packers’ defense.
